The project encompassed the entire interior design of the structure, where MMA Projects’ focus was on the common areas: the extensive lobby, the service areas, the elevator lobbies of the common areas, the many restaurants, the tea room, the pool, the gym, and the spa. Meanwhile, De.Tales focuses on the hotel rooms and residences, the presidential suite and executive lounge, the corridors, and the elevator lobbies on the guest room floors.
As a shelter for hotel and residences, the building harmoniously integrates with the urban structure, drawing metaphorical inspiration from concentric waves created by a drop falling into the water. Reflecting this imagery, the service facilities are organized in concentric rings radiating outward from Dishui Lake: from the promenade, through the densely packed commercial district, to the circular city park - which includes isolated public buildings -, and finally to the residential neighborhoods. The urban ring between the lakeside promenade and the green belt, along with the commercial district, serves as the beating heart of city life. Here, offices, shops, arcades, pedestrian areas, and dense residential spaces coexist.
MMA Projects’ interior design of this Radisson Collection Lingang Hotel, located in the Lingang new trade area, gets inspiration from the ocean and galaxy: the natural floating line passing through the space and leaving a delicate mark on the interior. This project is an architectural journey that drives guests throughout all different scenarios and is a perfect mix between Italian and Chinese culture. In all areas the leitmotif is “slow flowing” where the use of curved and rounded shapes is adopted not only in the furniture but also in the actual definition of the spaces.
De.Tales' interior design approach is focused on creating fluid spaces with a contemporary, refined, essential, and functional style; catering to work, meetings, and relaxation; offering a comprehensive and tailored travel experience. Each area is designed for versatile use, with open flows that adapt intuitively to guests' needs—a layered, multidimensional environment capable of transforming throughout the day. Principles like spatial continuity, hierarchical organization, and focus on symmetry forge a strong connection between the exterior and interior spaces, ensuring cohesion throughout the project and providing guests a comprehensive and tailored travel experience.

De.Tales is the Milan-based international architecture and design studio founded by Igor Rebosio and Giuseppe Varsavia. The studio interprets the project by writing a tailored Design Tale for the client, starting from the idea that there is always a story to tell behind the concept, and that details always matter. A unique narration, that starts from brief and expectations and consolidates in hospitality, residential, office and building projects, with a well-recognizable aspect of exclusivity.
