RDC is collaborating with Texas Medical Center (TMC) to integrate experiential retail and hospitality into the world’s largest medical campus. The solution is to create a district that activates and provides human-scale to the ground-level areas via a helix-shaped chain of six parks. The space is envisioned to successfully merge state-of-the-art facilities with active programming and diverse entertainment to create the world’s most comprehensive life science ecosystem. Helix Park is a manifestation of TMC’s mission to accelerate the pace of healing further and continue to better millions of lives.
Helix Park is a unique campus, with an unbeatable central location in the heart of Houston. TMC is a world-class destination that is readily available to locals and visitors. The campus is just west of Highway 288 and is entirely serviced by the METRORail Red Line for quick access from every part of the city. The six parks extend throughout this campus and offer a fully curated experience of programmed gathering areas. The retail destination features shops, unique culinary experiences with outdoor patios, fitness opportunities, entertainment venues, and public amenities.
