This project located alongside Huangpu River in Shanghai, China, which is one of the busiest district in this modern city. This flat targets female customers, inspired by ‘black and white of Chanel’, the team designed this elegant and spacious residence. Neutral colours are widely applied to the overall design, furniture and accessories are carefully selected according to colour psychology and features of each room.

Neutral colours are widely applied to the overall design, furniture and accessories are carefully selected according to colour psychology and features of each room. The classic elements of Chanel like camellias and chains are interpreted and used in the decorative application. Furniture selected is graceful in shape and curvy in line, resembles the curvaceous beauty of female bodies. Black, white and grey are the main color used in this design and some gold features are added as embellishment.
The easy and simple space was challenging for our designers. How to add creativity to the space and how to express the beauty of female through the decoration were the core task of the design.
The classic elements of Chanel like camellias and chains are interpreted and used in the decorative application. Furniture selected is graceful in shape and curvy in line, resembles the curvaceous beauty of female bodies.
Black, white and grey are the main color used in this design and some gold features are added as embellishment. Ivory marble floor, yellowish wallpaper and white ceiling created a simple and lively visual tone for the living-dining room.
The bedroom shares the same atmosphere with the living room, from the floor to the ceiling, decorous and natural materials are used meticulously. Bathed in bright sunshine, metal ornaments glow in the graceful radiance, each fibre of fabric products outstretches and receives the direct rays of the sun.
Some oil paintings full of artistic feelings are hang on the wall of the study room, with the wall-to-wall fur carpet, creating the artistic and luxury fashion feelings of the space.
The original intention of the design is to create a luxury, noble, quiet and harmonious fashion beauty. Constantly changing multi-level design impinges on the vision, reflects our spiritual needs, rebuilds the luxury level, and conveys the space aesthetics full of life and artistic philosophy.
