The site has no view to the seaside. With that disadvantage, the design for Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc garden villas was inspired by traditional Vietnamese houses with large courtyards inside. The master plan evolved by gathering the villas close to each other, just like the old villages in Vietnam whilst the traffic roads have been designed in small size and winding shape just like bamboom pathways that can be found in the countryside to create a familiar feeling for people.
Each group of five or seven villas creates a small hamlet with separated paths and shared yard. Meanwhile, each villa still retains an absolute private, quiet and intimate space in an unique architecture. We preserve the privacy to the villas with a surround three-meter wall and maximize the openings to nature by using no doors inside.
Implemented with a unique design and strong connection between nature and human, the spaces in every villa of the resort make us feel lost into greenery. Rooms and gardens are separated for privacy with a plant curtain hanging from the roof. The spaces in the villas are opened to collect natural sunlight to every corner providing an harmonious combination of nature and architecture.
Inside the furniture is also made of rustic materials which are friendly to nature. Along with the one-storey structure, Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc provides not only an absolute private and relaxing space but also views to the sky and nature.

MIA Design Studio is an innovative Master planning, Architecture and Interior design studio from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, born in 2003.
The team, composed by architects and designers with great admiration for the modernist movement, seeks to fulfill the difficult task of rethinking and giving continuity to this iconic generation. The projects of MIA Design Studio are valued for their formal simplicity, integration of interior and exterior into fluid spaces with special attention to landscape and climate conditions in each project.
MIA Design Studio seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of buildings by efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy and development space. Our sustainable design uses a conscious approach to energy and ecological conservation by considering the building environment. The idea of sustainability, or ecological design, is to ensure that our actions and decisions today do not inhibit the opportunities of future generations.
