The 'View' of Liu Garden
—Liu Garden is named by Liu Jingting lived here (it's called fishing Bay). Liu Jingting, who was born
in Taizhou, and he was the first person of storytelling in the Ming and Qing dynasties, He was born in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, with a turbulent life, he enjoyed short-lived fame and worked as an aide in middle age, and in his later years he returned to calm. The willow garden was built in 80s, and land use of 68000 square meters. Years of squandered, the garden's structures were dilapidated, and the plants were naturally lush but lacking in combing. The planning layout of the Liu garden is to comb and restore the existing ecological wetland and vegetation completely, and to implant a series of cultural sites and space regeneration projects with Liu Jingting's life. It is the spiritual habitat of Sanshui Bay, Culture-Biz block from noise to tranquility.

Liu garden is divided into three parts as a whole: the original ecological restoration area, traditional cultural interpretation area (including the museum and cultural landscape tourist area) and leisure and sightseeing area. The center of Liu garden is the Museum of commentary, and the north-south axis extends to the Culture-Biz block in the southern district. The east-west axis connects the western ecological restoration and cultural tour expansion with the east side of the leisure and sightseeing area.
When we deduce the space state of the museum, we do not directly adopt the beam column with five beams and seven beams for residential buildings and bay style, but adopt the form of flowing space. Just as the traditional art of storytelling and popular stories made people flock to it in the late Ming Dynasty of Liu Jingting, but the contemporary storytelling and popular stories are in the marginal area of art, and few people asking. This reflects the existence of traditional art is faced with the double pressure of inheritance and innovation, that is, is faced maintenance and self-challenges simultaneously. Landscape and architectural creation also face the same subject under specific regional context and function. The new regionalism thought of self-maintenance and revision has perfected our thinking about "prudent innovation" and guided the creation of "view" of Liu Garden.

The Museum of Nature and Man in One
—The space structure of one building with three courtyards and one garden is comprised by the building, exhibition hall atrium (garth), courtyard, Sunken Garden, and Lying Garden. The Chinese Museum of storytelling is a garden community composed by one building with three courtyards and one garden. Its morphological structure adopts the Figure-Ground of a series of quadrangles by montage, superposition, sunken, seduction and motion. Based on the typology principle, this method simplifies the logic of courtyard into a symbol prototype, and then breaks through and innovates the symbol archetype according to the new events, but maintains the pattern of square correct. The form of the mobile space organizes the circulation of the main entrance hall, exhibition hall, atrium, logistics, corridor, staircase, courtyard, and Sunken Garden in the organization of space. Different spatial supports and corresponds to different sloping roofs, forming a simple and clear spatial interface, and the space is fluidity and openness. This paper tries to find out the logical regeneration and emotion of Taizhou traditional residence from the study of the new type of archetype.

The section and top of the museum are based on the five-beam structure of the traditional Taizhou residence, which maintains the classical gables, cornices, ridges and diva's exterior elements. It is a typical neoclassical architectural style. The south main hall is open to the first floor exhibition hall. The main hall, first floor exhibition hall, meeting hall in the west end and square inner courtyard surrounded by the corridor, are reserved and recluse; the plum blossom alone in the courtyard is tough and elegant. The atrium-style inner courtyard between the first and second floors is high and transparent, facing the outside door.

Visitor is completed the tour streamline from the north staircase to the Sunken Garden in the semi-underground. The Sunken Garden is located on the long and narrow section of the northern side of the courtyard, which is the lowest and most secretive part of the courtyard. The east-west Sunken Garden is connected with the Liu Garden, the south side is opposite the concrete wall, and the north side is next to the college of drinking perfume. Visitor follows the uneven stone road and fallen duckweed pool west along the concrete wall and steps, slowly approaching the lush trees of the Liu garden. From the material education slowly to the nature, looking for the state of homogeneity between man and nature.

The structure of the museum uses concrete portal with beam column and longitudinal connecting beam that replaces the traditional 5-purlin beam. The outer wall beam column floor and interior wall are formed fair-faced concrete or brick at one time, and the reverse beam and concrete slab are used for ceiling. Imitating wood-grained overhead floor is built-in pipeline and air-conditioning pipe. Concrete roof and indoor water materials are integrated, forming the state of structure and building.

The roof of the main hall is opened, and the hidden frame lighting ceiling is covered on the door concrete beam. The outer side of the hidden frame ceiling is a slender, tightly arranged wood line. The light fell on the floor of the main hall after several layers of superimposed grille, forming a thin, rich and perspective image. The museum's garden group conveys the spatial values of "travel, view and thought" which is making tourists forget their fatigue, the admirer slow their pace, and the stationary people fall in deep thinking, and from "tour" into "view", and from "view" into "thought" as well.
