ARCStudio Perlini
The innovative concept plug&play that expands the horizons of emotional tourism, and anticipates future solutions.

An intelligent, self-sufficient micro-suite, which uses solar energy, and is suitable for installation in the most inaccessible and scenic locations, on top of a cliff or hanging at two thousand metres high, in the mountains, by the sea or a lake, in a forest or in just about any natural environmental setting. And all without sacrificing the maximum comfort and eco-sustainable luxury.

Just a dream? On the contrary: EDEN Luxury Portable Suite, designed by Michele Perlini, is the revolutionary new modular concept for emotional tourism. Completely prefabricated, EDEN Luxury Suite is easy to ship, both on the road and by helicopter, pre-assembled and complete with interiors, ready to live in. The basic module - which is 6 metres long and 3 wide - has a large window on the main facade and is completed by a one metre long terrace, which is perfect for relaxing, entirely immersed in the surrounding landscape.

"A scenographic telescopic effect", says the Architect, "characterises the front of the space, almost as if to amplify the dimension of nature and to bring it as close as possible."

In the 9 x 3 m and 12 x 3 m versions, EDEN can be configured to obtain not only two bedrooms and a living area, but a sauna and a hammam as well.

The interiors are in natural Maple. The suite includes a bed with a table attached for breakfast or a quick lunch but for enjoying a candlelit dinner too, a chromo-therapy shower, covered with natural travertine stone, an area with a small dressing room and mini kitchen with an induction area, as well as a small refrigerator and a service area with a sink and bathtub in Cristalplant.
To ensure maximum thermal insulation and minimise energy losses, particularly in hostile environments, natural larch wood slats from controlled forests were used on the exterior to achieve a high efficiency cladding.

As for the finish, both external and internal, there are different versions with plaster materials and various types of wood. The lighting system has been studied ad hoc, with light beams and spots for soft effects, in warm and soft tones, on walls covered in maple wood.
An essential aspect of the entire project is its extreme sustainability, from transportation to the use of natural, certificated materials, thanks to research into functionality and optimisation of the cladding and fittings. The utmost attention has been paid to the use of advanced technologies, with the aim of achieving the lowest possible carbon footprint, whilst implementing, at the same time, modules for extreme environments or places where connections to municipal services are impossible.

Cutting edge air conditioning and ventilation systems, high-quality electrical installations powered by solar panels and a water tank make the module entirely self-sufficient.
With a high degree of sophisticated design research, the EDEN Luxury Portable Suite expands the horizons of emotional tourism, opening up new, previously unimagined possibilities and anticipating potential solutions for the homes of the future.

EDEN will be previewed at Fuori Salone 2018
