ge scale in UNIANDINOS buildings is preferred to avoid. To counterbalance the weight of this scale proposed in the program we propose a low-rise and stepped building that responds with scalar equivalences to the buildings of its immediate environment. This attitude results in a stepped project of a unified façade in the west-east, in correspondence with the topographical ascent of the place that is linked with each of the terraces and access doors of the University.
The apparent materiality realized in metallic panels with variations in its transparency allows the unit of the whole as part pierced by the crater and evokes the historical industrial character of the sector of the city in which it is located.
SEQUENCE OF IRREGULAR GEOMETRIES, plants in rotated ascent and stepped.
The complex program of the building is solved from the layout of 6 architectural plans of regular height, which raise its geometrical variations in plan. The arrangement and particularity of each of the plates in relation to the previous and the next allows the program to be resolved spatially enriched.
The circulation spaces are arranged in a spiral circuit to the crater and at each level according to need, the central circulation spiral connects arms to the city or the preexisting buildings. In the interstice of these circulations of student well-being the areas of the program are arranged. In the first floors the spaces of greater public character and in the higher floors the academic spaces of the program. The classrooms are arranged on the perimeter of the building and scattered throughout the floors to ensure the meeting between users.

The complex spatiality of the building is solved from a traditional structure of concrete columns lines that arranged on a reference grid allow the versatility in the arrangement of the connecting and rising irregular plates.

UNIVERSITY CRATER, a spiral of gathering and knowledge
The occupation of the site arises as an architectural mass dugged in its center irregularly to produce a vertical connection, a university gate like a crater, whose bottom is the city.
POROUS MATERIAL, fractions and vacuum to connect
The project proposesa porous materiality that the crater be connected to all architectural and urban preexistings.
THE GREAT SCALE FRACTIONED, an austere and respectful attitude.
A low-rise and stepped back building that responds with scalar equivalences to the existing buildings and topography of the place.
