The first winners of the World Architecture Festival 2021

Following the work of the dedicated juries, the first winners of the World Architecture Festival 2021 have been announced. These include the following categories: Completed Buildings, Landscape – Urban Context and Future Projects.
At the same time, the first winners of the sister event INSIDE World Festival of Interiors have been announced. This award seeks to promote the best interior design projects in the world.

The second (and last) phase of announcement will be revealed during the virtual edition of the Festival, where category winners will go head-to-head to claim the ultimate accolades for World Building of the Year, Future Project of the Year, Landscape of the Year and Interior of the Year.

Completed Buildings

  • Health: North Wing of the Rigshospitalet in Denmark by Link Arkitektur and 3XN with Nickl & Partner and Kristine Jensens Tegnestue
  • Higher Education and Research: Scion Innovation Hub in New Zealand by RTA + Irving Smith
  • Mixed-Use: The Post Building in London by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris
  • New & Old: Capsule hostel and bookstore in Qinglongwu, China, by tao+c
  • Office: OLDERFLEET in Melbourne by Grimshaw
