On Friday, December 4th, the first virtual edition of World Architecture Festival has ended, with a successful turnout of online attendees that took part in various conferences, lectures and keynote speeches. During WAFVirtual, the winners of the Isolation Transformed Competition, launched by World Architecture Festival with storytelling platform PechaKucha, and the Water Research prize, funded by GROHE – Founder Partner of the Festival – were announced.
The in-person edition of WAF will take place for the first time after 12 years in Lisbon (December 1-3, 2021), and it is possible to enter the awards program until May 7th, 2021. As in previous years, the World Festival of Interiors – INSIDE will also take place alongside WAF.
