View Place Hotel

The historic View Place Hotel on the Conero Riviera is a luxury establishment that seamlessly integrates home automation with comfort. The key development that has transformed the hotel into a smart and efficient environment is Vimar’s Well-contact Plus technology. Developed on KNX standards, this hotel management system integrates seamlessly with the stylish and minimalist design of Vimar’s signature Linea and Eikon series. It manages check-in and check-out procedures, detects presence, generates alarms in the event of technical or electrical emergencies, manages customer service requests and regulates lighting and temperature settings. All of these operations can be programmed and monitored from the reception desk, effectively turning it into a central control center.

With Well-contact Plus, when a guest inserts their card into the reader, their presence turns on the room lighting and adjusts the temperature to the chosen setting, ensuring they can fully appreciate the elegant and spacious room. These rooms feature wood floors, luxurious furnishings and finely crafted headboards with fluted finishes. The Linea range was selected to complement the interior design of the various units, with the sleek Total Look Black version being chosen. Its discreet linear and surface controls blend seamlessly into the walls, offering a clean and distinctive design that adds a touch of personality to the room. Outside the rooms, the Tactil version of Eikon was chosen for the card readers, featuring a backlit silhouette that makes it easy to see the control function even in low-light conditions. Eikon’s pure crystal surface incorporates custom LED symbols to indicate whether guests prefer not to be disturbed or, alternatively, require room cleaning services.

In addition, the Elvox video door phone system manages access control and monitoring of the outdoor parking area. Vimar’s Netsafe structured cabling system was used to seamlessly integrate and connect the hotel’s entire home automation network, enabling reliable communication, data transfer and video sharing. This ensures stable and highly efficient connections throughout the hotel.

Thanks to the technology chosen, all three floors of the View Place Hotel can be managed and controlled by a system that ensures a wellness-oriented stay and smart and rewarding hospitality for each guest.
