Ultratop Living - self-levelling floors

Edited By Redazione The Plan - 6 September 2011

Ultratop Living, which belongs to the Cement Floors line and is in Mapei Resin, is a self-levelling mortar made up of special rapid setting and rapid drying bonding agents, graded silica sands, synthetic resins and special additives. It can be used to make smooth flat indoor floors varying between 5 and 15 mm thick, on a new or existing support of concrete, tile or natural stone. Available in the colours light grey, white, anthracite and natural, Ultratop Living is strongly textural and ensures high mechanical resistance and anti-scoring. It is suitable for a wide range of civil engineering floor solutions in the public, private, commercial or residential sectors. One of its main spheres of application is in new indoor flooring for commercial centres, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, shops, showrooms and apartments, or for light-duty non-scratch surfaces laid on concrete, existing tiles or natural stone. Ultratop Living’s resistance to scoring and scratching can be enhanced by using a surface finish: Mapefloor Finish 50 or Mapefloor Finish 52W. These are also indispensable for making Ultratop Living impermeable to water and oil.
