Set in the Dolomites on Lake Dobbiaco, the Toblacher See camping site provides options for a holiday enjoyed in pristine nature, nestling between the wood and the shores of the lake. The range of accommodation options available includes 12 exclusive Skyview Chalets designed by the Raumwerk architecture practice that provide an alternative to traditional camping, merging comfort and convenience without taking away the option for “direct” contact with nature.

Each accommodation unit has a kitchen and living room area, a bathroom with an infra-red sauna and a completely glazed bedroom that provides a direct connection to the outside landscape day and night, so guests can enjoy the amazing skies above this pristine land.

The wooden structures of the chalets merge harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. They are raised above the ground, with lovely terraces providing views of the lake, and open up to the outside through large windows, culminating in the veranda that forms the sleeping area.

The aluminum doors and windows were supplied by Finstral, combining design and performance to increase interior comfort.

For the windows, the FIN-Project Classic-line and Nova-line Plus were chosen, while for the glazed walls, the FIN-Vista model was used, as it offers maximum transparency with its exceptionally thin profiles. FIN-Door was used for the front doors that fit seamlessly with the external wooden cladding of the chalets to ensure excellent safety, security and insulation.

The most alluring part of the design for these chalets is almost definitely the bed area, which is located within a Penta veranda.
The structure is made with thin mullions (50 mm) to create a slender effect and maximize the glass surface area. At the same time, these structures provide exceptional insulation and so the interior is very comfortable regardless of the time of year, even when the harsh, cold winters of this Alpine area set in. The chalets genuinely provide a 360° view of nature throughout the year.
