Elegance and Harmony of Finishes

Clearwater in West Florida initially developed rather slowly, but over the years it became a popular tourist destination, with numerous homes and hotels being built. In 1962, the creation of the iconic Pier 60 gave a new impetus to this growing waterfront area, proving to be the perfect place to take breathtaking sunset walks, explore the various kiosks, or engage in a variety of recreational activities, including fishing. Today, this idyllic place is the setting for Serena by the Sea, a refuge from the chaos of tourism, where it is possible to find peace and harmony, where the well-being of guests has been placed at the center of the architectural design, which saw the involvement of Colombini Group Contract. Spanning seven floors, Serena by the Sea features a variety of units, each with a generously proportioned living area adorned with elegant full-height sliding glass doors that open seamlessly onto balconies, allowing for an abundance of natural light. Complementing this is an equally refined sleeping area, each with a minimum of two bedrooms, ensuring a sophisticated and comfortable living experience.

The Febal brand, founded in 1959 and now part of Colombini Group, provided luxurious furnishings for some of the rooms: 120 walk-in closets and wardrobes from the Febal Notte collection and ten kitchens. Each element is thoughtfully placed in its context, creating a seamless harmony with finishes characterized by an elegant, neutral color palette including Eucalyptus, Gold Walnut and Silver Eucalyptus. In the pursuit of balanced refinement, the entire complex was built with great attention to the choice of materials and the nuances of the interior and exterior spaces, selecting bright stones, delicate fabrics and soft tones. Another goal was to optimize the well-being of users by creating healthy spaces, which was achieved through the study of acoustics and the installation of filters and disinfection systems for both the air and the water in the complex’s swimming pools.

Similarly, there are numerous attractions outside the units: a spa, several pedestrian walkways, a large plaza, a 24-hour lobby, and ample parking. In such a refined setting, the work and products of the Colombini Group brand fit in harmoniously, extending the concept of comfort to every room in which they are placed. Specialized in numerous sectors – retail, residential, office, hotel and contracting – the Group has been investing in training and research for more than 50 years so as to constantly refine its technologies, the quality of its materials and the timeliness of its services. This ongoing commitment was once again demonstrated in this project.
