Pragmatic poetry is the motto of architecten|en|en, an office with a long history dating back to the sixties. The core activities of |en|en include architecture in the most broad sense of the word. Design, building techniques and regulation, urban planning and interior design; from priminary studies to full completion, we have the diciplines to bring the project to a succesful ending. With our dynamic team we are able to handle big assignments, still giving the right attention to all the details. |en|en has a large experience in complex, politically sensitive processes and handling with multiple users and interests. Besides large ceremonial assignments such as City Halls and Theatres, our field of work also exists of utilitarian projects especially in education, culture and housing at various scale levels. We make plans for the redevelopment of new buildings, but also th re-use of old buildings and monuments as a common theme in our work.
