nEmoGruppo Architetti nEmoGruppo was established in Florence in 2004 by a group of young architects from all over Italy – some with experience abroad – with an average age of 34.
In 2005 the studio won a tender from the communal government of Oderzo, Italy, for its first project. It subsequently won tenders in Italy and abroad, designing buildings in Chaumont-sur-Loire (France) and Bilbao (Spain). It took part in the 11th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale in partnership with New York studio Diller & Scofidio + Renfro. For its private clients, it has worked on interior design projects, a development in Acqualagna, the Gamba showroom, and fit outs for companies such as Ferragamo, Roche, Unicredit, Agip, Kevents and DPR.
Its most important projects include: the detailed design for the new Piazza Garibaldi in Narni (Italy), scheduled for 2013; the new headquarters of Dalian Tianbao Green Foods Co. Ltd. in Dalian (China); Villa Moeller in Monsummano (Italy); restoration and interior design projects in Pesaro and Florence; showrooms and offices in Fiesso d’Artico (Italy); a sound garden in Udine (Italy); the interior of a public car park in Milan; and a wine bar in Grado (Italy). It also participates in invitation-only tenders, and has completed projects for tradeshows and events, including the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera pavilion at the Geneva Motor Show and a Gerrit Rietveld retrospective at the MAXXI in Rome. It is currently collaborating with Todesco on the design of an international equestrian centre in Dueville, the largest in Italy.
nEmoGruppo partners lecture in Italy and abroad. The studio’s projects have been featured in national and international architecture journals.
