KORUS GROUP has participated in the project

Situated in a prime location in Milan, near Citylife and Portello, the Pharo office complex, designed by Park Associati, consists of three distinct volumes of different heights – architectural elements that create not only a distinctive public space, but also an innovative urban landmark that redefines the surrounding landscape. Evocative nighttime lighting enhances the entire complex, giving it the appearance of a shining beacon. The project uses a unified, organic language and defines a strategy of urban reconnection based on the concept of permeability and volumetric reinterpretation of the entire city block.

Against this backdrop, Capgemini, a global leader in helping companies transform their businesses by harnessing the power of technology, has relocated its Milan office, where over 2,000 people work. The project was entrusted to DEGW, a business unit of Lombardini22, which developed the interior design project, starting with a careful analysis of the client's space and organizational needs, followed by the technical aspects, handled by L22 Engineering, and the physical branding by FUD.

To provide an optimal response to the stringent requirements of the construction schedule, quality of space and adherence to the company's specific guidelines, the architects turned to Korus Group, which brought to the tables its decades of experience in managing and executing projects in various sectors such as facilities, hotels, offices, retail and residential. Capgemini's headquarters are designed and organized in such a way as to ensure that the workspace is experienced in continuity with the private sphere, and is characterized by a model of inclusiveness that promotes new forms of hybrid work and co-working, with flexible and technological environments, space management designed to foster creativity, as well as numerous networking areas and even a sky bar. Optimal lighting levels, an acoustic study and the ecological quality of the interior have also proven pivotal in enhancing worker comfort and fulfilling the standards that enabled Pharo to attain LEED Platinum certification.

The collaboration and synergy between Lombardini22 and Korus Group made it possible to coordinate and implement every technical and design aspect of the project, achieving the best possible performance for each environment.

The project management was based on a phased approach; partial delivery deadlines posed a challenge within a challenge, with the need to avoid disrupting employees working in already occupied spaces as work progressed. Attention to quality and adherence to budgets and schedules guided each phase of the project and its implementation, ensuring that objectives were met in full compliance with the client's brief and needs.
