My Nature by Villeroy & Boch

My Nature by Villeroy & Boch
By Editorial Staff -
With My Nature, country style has arrived in the year 2011 – simple, airy, and with fascinating contrasts of form and a purist yet natural overall impression. The name of the new collection by Villeroy & Boch can be understood quite literally: here it is not just about a modern and appealing interpretation of naturalness for one’s own home; it is also about designing the bathroom in a truly original way – in keeping with one’s own nature.
The careful selection of materials, the design and lots of flexible functions will fulfill all of your expectations. High-quality ceramic from Mettlach meets vividly grained indigenous chestnut. The styling combines harmonious, organic contours with purist linearity. And a variable system of cupboard fronts and accessories provides great scope for self-realization in the bathroom.

New verve in the bathroom – with ceramic and chestnut
The central element of My Nature is the sweeping wash stand, its particularly lean body a source of lightness – and the accompanying airy furnishings reiterate this impression. Completely new is the textured Castanea décor optionally available for the wash stand: here, for the first time a new production technology permits the application of décors that are not only visible but tangible as well. The console in chestnut is an innovation, too, lending the wash stand a transition to the wall of particularly fine esthetic quality.
The WC and bidet are also attractively fashioned in a sweeping design. The WC, mounted with an invisible fitting, delivers optimal flush action with just 4.5 liters of water. In addition, the patented seat cover in chestnut veneer provides a natural look & feel. For the NatureSeat, Villeroy & Boch for the first time combines genuine wood components with easy-care, hygienic duroplast. Also featured are two convenience functions: Quick Release, for particularly easy removal and reinstallation for thorough cleaning; and Soft Closing, for noiseless closing of the toilet seat.

The sapling as chameleon – real wood, colorful fronts, flexible accessories
The furnishings are solid and at the same time airy and filigree in design and practical down to the tiniest detail: the wash stand vanity unit has a space-saving built-in towel holder and the console drawer an optionally removable tray. The LED lighting on the mirror and beneath the wash stand unit is energy-saving, safe and durable at the same time. A mirror with metal elements permits individually tailored arraying of magnetic accessories – whether facial-tissue box or cotton-pad dispenser. And for the very personal esthetic touch, the user also has the option of simply swapping the furniture facing; in addition to chestnut, the facing is also available in the colors of sand, aqua and grey.

The individual presentation in the bathroom
The eye-catcher in the collection is the generously proportioned bathtub. This free-standing tub rests on a wooden plinth, making it the clear centerpiece of the bathroom landscape. Alternatively, it can be fitted with a furniture module; as an installation solution, it is also whirlpool-ready.

The relaxed feeling of nature for people in an urban setting: that is what Villeroy & Boch sought to create with this new collection. My Nature gives lots of room for design options, it is convincing for its high standard of quality and for its language of form, suited not only to our era but to our very individual needs as well.
