Waterline Square is a residential development by GID Development Group on the waterfront of Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by the internationally renowned New York-based architectural firms Rafael Viñoly Architects, Richard Meier & Partners Architects and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the three towers surround a 10,000 sq. m park at the heart of this nearly 20,000 sq.m complex and are the final piece of a master plan that started more than two decades ago and transformed this neighborhood of Manhattan on Riverside Boulevard. The residences are available for rental and sale and are the epitome of luxury, all comfort and services from the moment the visitors enter the luxurious park in where they are located.  The key element that literally connects the three towers is the Waterline Club, the amenity club designed by the Rockwell Group that truly embraces the possibility to provide an exceptional array of options for people of all ages. The amenities of several sport and fitness, swim and spa, leisure and social, creative, children’s and pets’ spaces, includes an indoor tennis court, pools, a basketball court, a rock-climbing wall, a children’s playroom, a game room, a music and recording studio, an art studio and spaces for entertaining and hosting parties for all ages.

The design of the Waterline Club is cutting edge, but with elegant lines and refined materials. Most of the flooring and wall surfaces are finished with Florim porcelain slabs, with some parts rising up to three floors high. The Stones & More 2.0 collection adorns the floor of the lobby, including the monumental main staircase and the raised walkways. The luxury surfaces with grey veins beautifully recreate the look of expensive marble slabs, bringing a combined sense of continuity and fluidity to the environment. For the walls, the large format Timeless Travertino slabs are custom cut and clad the full-height space. The walls around the pool with the smooth finish of  Stones & More 2.0 Stone Marfil emphasized by the lighting from above contrasts with the floor with the Walks 1.0 Black slabs around the edge of the pool.

Florim slabs were also used to create some of the furnishing elements, such as the Stone Marble Marquina counter in the party room.

The versatility of Florim products became the key feature of all environments as custom sizes were essential to meet the design intent requirements set by the architects.
