Axor Citterio’s updated version of its 2003 bathroom range brings together the very best of Axor’s top-end products. The new collection includes a classical single-lever mixer tap for washbasins. The ergonomic mixer arm is placed on the side of the washbasin for ease of use and cleaning. The mixer spout comes with an Ecosmart delivery system that limits the amount of water outflow while increasing its delivery performance. The adjustable spray jet allows different flow directions. The Axor Citterio Showerpipe is the latest addition to the shower scene. Sleek and elegant, the showerpipe has a thermostatic mixer and a hi-tech shower head with a lime-scale removal system. The acute angle described by the showerpipe ensures a powerful, zestful water jet, especially when the jet is adjusted for the massage function. Also mounted on the thermostatic mixer is the Raindance S150 Air 3-Jet hand shower with wall-mounted shower hose. Like the overhead shower, the hand held version also has three jet configurations. As well as designing all the components of this collection, Antonio Citterio also took on the full restyling of the Axor Citterio range. One new feature is the addition of a relaxation area with furniture and accessories to match the sanitary items. This “room within a room” becomes a connecting area destined to revolutionise the traditional spatial distribution within the home. By creating a link with the night zone, it introduces a whole new bathroom concept: no longer ‘the smallest room’, rather a focal place in which to take time out and relax.
