The concept design is based on three main elements: brand, digital, and sustainability. The new headquarters is designed to promote collaboration, creativity, and the exchange of ideas among teams, providing a unique work environment that accommodates over five hundred people on a daily basis. The concept is aimed to support Haier Europe in defining a new workplace experience centered around a model of work where corporate culture, spaces, and technologies become tools for transitioning into a new ecosystem. This approach, revolutionizing people's way of working and supporting organizational change, strengthens the group's culture, facilitates hybrid work, encourages healthy and sustainable behaviors, and promotes digital transformation.

Easily accessible and well connected, the new European headquarters of Haier Europe is located in the Green Building Campus within the Energy Park in Vimercate, designed with people in mind and located in the heart of the technological hub of Brianza, where work can be combined with moments of tranquility, physical activity, and outdoor leisure. It offers a unique working environment surrounded by nature and with a stunning view of the Alpine range. The integration of work and life is enhanced through the adoption of a new rhythm of life that combines quiet moments, physical activity, and relaxation in the open air. This approach to business fosters relationships, energizes and inspires creativity and synchronizes human activity with nature.

Energy Park is built according to the most advanced architectural and technological principles, in compliance with the highest energy and environmental standards. The complex has obtained LEED Platinum certification, and the interior project has also been realized following sustainable design and construction principles. Finishes and materials from certified supply chains have been used, and plastic-free measures have been implemented. To enhance the occupants' connection to the natural environment, a biophilic approach to design has been adopted. This includes abundant vegetation, organic and natural shapes integrated into the workspace, and a preference for natural light and views of the surrounding landscape.

The headquarters is an innovative hub supporting research, technology and innovation where people can experience a new way of working and living within the office space. The entrance building, named The Gate, showcases Haier Europe's multi-brand ecosystem conveying its values through designer furnishings, colors, and theatrical lighting. The operational core of the offices, The Haier Smart Square, spans three levels with dynamic and interconnected architectural forms. The office layout, furnishings, and state-of-the-art technology promote a fluid and open work environment that emphasizes physical and mental well-being, as well as sustainability. The spaces are flexible, offering various typologies suitable for different activities and work requirements, including shared workstations, collaboration areas, support zones, and private rooms for individual or confidential work. Managerial areas, a leadership zone, and well-equipped meeting rooms enhance productivity and ensure a seamless digital experience. The building also features communal spaces such as reception areas, exhibition zones, breakout areas, a bistro, well-being spaces, lounges, recreational spots, and an outdoor terrace. The ground floor is dedicated to the Haier Product Experience, an interactive lab that recreates three domestic settings – the kitchen, living room, and laundry area – enabling employees and visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Haier and experience the latest innovations and products.

Haier Europe’s workplace fosters a culture based on entrepreneurship, ecosystem, and creativity with high-quality and efficient spaces. The state-of-the-art office layout creates an experiential journey within a modern and open working environment reflecting the culture and image of brand, where people feel engaged and part of a community. The new HQ supports Haier Europe’s transformational journey, promoting efficient growth and keeping the company at the forefront of design and innovation.
