With clubs and open floor, Galaxy Bay by Yuexiu Property shows the essence of “born to the river”, which is its cultural philosophy. It uses art to highlight the overall space, creating a comfortable, relaxed and elegant atmosphere. In this way, it becomes a hotel-style community club equipped with high-end, luxury living space. The space embodies calmness and warmth in some energetic colors, making the space an energy field connected with nature.
“Born to the river” as the spirit runs through the space even including the corridor. Artworks are placed in the corners of the space to conform to the environment, thus weakening the rigid interior lines and subtly connecting the space. Artistic creation depends on the carrier of materials and contours. In this case, the sailboats on the Pearl River is used so as to get people familiar with the space. Inspired by the spirit of the space, the design shows infinity through the collision of modest luxury warm wood and orange art glass. The screen partition combined with contemporary art and Manchurian window serves as visual symbols creatively interpreting space mood.
When presenting the space, the team pays attention to the close integration of interior, architecture and landscape, and strive to create a comfortable "urban resort garden" where water reflection echoes with semi-outdoor leisure area. A fully-equipped open floor fully meets the owners' needs for healthy and quality life by breaking its traditional single function. Besides, open floor embodies aesthetics and allows social interaction. The coffee area follows the multi-dimensional and situational construction. This is reflected by its luxury shop window whose light and shadow mixes with artificial-designed artistic light in the calm dark space, leaving an impression of excellence and luxury. A decorative painting not only records the prosperity of the city, but also pays tribute to its unique history. With the embellishment of artistic light and plants, the painting calms the mind and provides a deeper emotional experience. As for the art installations in the club, calm, sleeping faces accompanied by crazy three-dimensional blocks are selected. They add abstract elements to the originally figurative sculptures. Their material includes stainless steel with internal light, symbolizing that individuals have their own inner strength waiting the right moment to explode.
When it comes to open floor, the design team makes it from two perspectives of "home life" and "social activities". The team intends to create a rich, diversified space allowing a wide range of activities including family and friend gathering, art exhibition and work communication. Light-colored grain stone largely used on the open floor combined with mirror art installation in arc shape on the wall leaves a deep memory on the owners when they enter or leave the house.
