As a result of the founder's professional and life experience, a decision was made to completely change the approach to urban planning and development in modern Ukraine. The aim is to break away entirely from the Soviet legacy and standards that are detrimental to today's cities. Modern cities should be built on the principles of sustainable development, focusing on economic and environmental opportunities for future adaptation.
We must prioritize the well-being of the population and their future in cities starting today. This is not just a single project but an urban standard—a framework that can be adapted to any locality in any region.
We based the sustainable development approach on economic, environmental, and energy strategies to ensure autonomy and adaptability to future challenges, including climate, energy, and food security. Local programs have been developed and integrated into the master planning and zoning process to ensure a full network of infrastructure and engineering facilities. The city's economy is calculated, and all environmental and social programs are validated to create comfortable living conditions. An HR strategy has also been developed to foster sustainable jobs and avoid unnecessary competition, based on the principles of urban clustering.
he project's strengths include its long-term development strategy and over 8 years of work. During this time, a land area was formed under private ownership, ensuring the project's future realization. The master plan guarantees sustainable development for both future residents and the project itself, addressing all basic needs and programs before implementation. Ecological, energy, and engineering networks are designed with optimal efficiency. The environmental strategy is an optimized resource use that ensures economic feasibility. Energy security is ensured to make all businesses within the project environmentally focused. The project also includes educational and medical clusters, promoting economic development and access to preventive healthcare.
Today, Ukraine faces a great challenge, and we must ensure the future sustainable development not only of cities but also of the economy and the country as a whole. We must break free from Soviet-era planning, standardization, and all that connected us to gigantism, without focusing on economic and ecological sustainability. This project aims to highlight to residents that cities should work for the people, not the other way around.
