The Tempus Domus project was born from the desire to provide exceptionality to everyday life, raising the quality of the relational, social and working life of those who spend ample time in a workspace.
A sort of "third time" that goes alongside the private and working one where innovative spaces and functions can be found that can provide the corporate reality with a sense of community and familiarity.

The architectural work, is located within the larger intervention of the Chiesi Farmaceutici Headquarters and fits into the landscape through a measure and harmony which, precisely in the proportions, pursues the aim of becoming the artifice that qualifies nature, ensuring that the contemporary line creates new landscape suggestions capable of meeting the taste and feelings of the new generations too.
Nature and architecture dialogue through their distinct, but strong, identities

The building is created using a modular metal cladding that takes into account the main orientations and climatic characteristics of the Po Valley. The architecture develops on two floors marked by a clear string course composed of a box-shaped C profile, which provides horizontality to the language. These spaces contribute to the achievement of the redevelopment and regeneration objectives of the intervention area, contributing to the LEED environmental certification of the entire site, as well as to compliance with the B-Corp parameters of environmental quality.

The multifunctional pavilion is located within the larger intervention of the Chiesi Farmaceutici Headquarters and constitutes a support and service space for work activities.
Conceived as an independent, compact and functional volume, it articulates its spaces on two levels through collective rooms that can be modulated according to different settings.
Externally the building is characterized by a modular metal cladding. The two floors of the building are marked by a string course composed of a C-shaped box profile, which helps to balance the composition. On the ground floor there are spaces for socialising, free time and two joinable meeting rooms. on the first floor, a space for fitness activities, yoga and meditation courses, with dedicated showers and changing rooms.
The pavilion by its nature allows for varied use according to needs, favoring group activities perimetered with respect to the neighboring office complex for which it acts as a support environment. The spacious and bright rooms overlook the central green courtyard of the new building complex. The overall result is a place capable of offering a variety of spaces and services designed for the quality of the working day, guaranteeing well-being and comfort and encouraging personal relationships and interdisciplinary exchanges.

Tempus Domus is a modular multifunctional space open to different ways of use for leisure, free time and group work. An architecture that seeks to identify the new principles that the world of work and the quality of life express, trying to create an intermediate space between the reality of the office and the sphere of private intimacy. Inside it, flexible, collective and aggregative functions can be carried out in the name of socialization and social inclusion.

Curriculum

The office addresses issues related to cities, their various hinterlands, the architecture of which they are made up and the technologies required for their construction, explored in terms of the functions and activities that they accommodate in tandem with the combination of their form and composition. By bringing together theoretical activities and design practices, it seeks to define a cultural reference scenario, through a professional research process that is viewed as a setting for testing and further investigating architectural and construction-related issues, perceived through a multiscalar and interdisciplinary interpretation of the architect’s role, divided between humanistic and scientific cultures. The studio’s professional activity is carried out in the form of design applied at multiple levels: urban planning, architecture and the building fabric itself throughout its entire life-cycle.
