The project was conceived in response to the client's desire to establish a headquarters in southern France that would serve as a manifestation of their corporate philosophy. The primary goal is to invest in innovation, ensuring that each building seamlessly integrates with the natural environment.
Special emphasis is placed on preserving the local biodiversity. Through meticulous design and sustainable practices, the project aims to create a harmonious coexistence between architecture and nature, enhancing the overall ecological balance.
The principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship, the project strives to create a space that not only meets the client's needs but also leaves a positive and lasting impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
The project's overarching goal is to seamlessly integrate with the local landscape and nature, reflecting the company's philosophy of respect and sustainability. Through the proactive implementation of various innovative technologies, the project strives to achieve a minimal ecological impact. The design process prioritizes the optimization of spaces, carefully considering how natural sunlight can permeate the structure.
Prior to the design work, a thorough investigation was conducted on the hydrogeological condition of the soil and the vegetation in the project area. These analyses served as the basis for creating a project that integrates seamlessly into the terrain and surrounding greenery without creating negative impacts. In fact, the project focuses on reducing energy consumption and soil erosion, working towards a more sustainable approach.
The project's key strengths include:
1. Extremely low environmental impact: The project is designed to minimize its impact on the environment, ensuring sustainable construction practices.
2. Harmonious integration with the surrounding landscape: The project seamlessly blends into the natural surroundings, respecting and enhancing the local context.
3. Optimization of construction spaces: The project maximizes the efficient use of space, ensuring functionality and practicality.
4. Zero-impact design: The project aims to achieve a zero environmental footprint, minimizing energy consumption and waste generation.
5. Design focused on maximizing the use of natural elements: The project utilizes water, air, and sunlight in an optimized manner, harnessing their potential to create a sustainable and comfortable living environment.
By living within this construction, residents will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area while knowing that the project has been designed to integrate seamlessly, even enhancing the local vegetation.
Beauty and functionality in harmony with nature
Founded in Paris in 2009, Agence CHOGNARD & TRIFILO Architectes relocated to Nice in 2020. Olivier Chognard Trifilo, an Architect dplg from Clermont-Ferrand, started in 2003, gaining experience in Clermont-Ferrand, Paris, and Marseille. By 2009, he partnered with Ludovic Chognard Trifilo, Architect dplg from Paris la Villette. Ludovic, having studied in COIMBRA and trained in Parisian firms, co-founded "Mode d'emploi Architecture" in 2007, later partnering with Xavier DEVAUX of Paris Bruxelles Architectes. Their architecture doesn’t adhere to a specific lexicon or fixed language. In every new project, they strive to identify a unique vocabulary for a fresh context. Instead of searching for similarities between projects, they are captivated by the differences. They seek an experimental approach, exploring new concepts and perspectives, influenced by their collective sensitivity and passions.
