The Riva Residence project was developed by the Archventil studio on behalf of Rinofanto Development, a Milanese company active in the real estate sector. Riva Residence is located inside a courtyard with independent access and will be surrounded by private greenery, terraces, and a private courtyard. The project involves the creation of three apartments, each with its own terrace or private garden. Each unit is studied with attention and maximum attention to detail, from the choices of materials to the personalization of spaces. Archventil's ability to take on the client's point of view is one of the firm's strengths and has allowed tailor-made solutions, studied in detail, and capable of making each project unique.
Riva Residence is located in the south-east area of Milan, Scalo Romana district. The north area of the neighborhood houses the headquarters of the Prada Foundation and has recently undergone a redevelopment process through interesting projects and initiatives: from the reopening of the farmsteads in the peri-urban area to the creation of new social spaces for citizens. It is an area that, in the coming years, will acquire more value. The credit certainly goes to the announced construction site of the Olympic Village, which will be built in the nearby former railway station of Porta Romana on the occasion of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Riva Residence architecture fits creatively in the context resulting in an interesting diversification compared to the surrounding buildings.
For the construction of the complex, the real estate company Rinofanto Development purchased a single building, two floors above ground, inside a courtyard with independent access surrounded by green areas, for a total area of 360 sqm. The intervention involved the demolition of an entire portion of the building and the consequent reconstruction with the creation of three residential solutions, on two levels, designed in A4 energy class, with the latest generation systems, photovoltaic panels, and smart home automation systems. Riva Residence has very high performance and focuses on sustainability and energy saving, according to the NZEB legislation. The units have fine finishes, terraces or private gardens, garages, and parking with columns for recharging electric cars.
In full transformation, beloved by creatives, the Scalo Romana district is an excellent area for investment. Well connected, it hosts Prada Foundation Exhibition Space and Torre Restaurant, Symbiosis Milano, ICS Milan International School, Bocconi University and Campus, Olympic Village of Scalo di Porta Romana, and The Mysterious Baths of Theatre Franco Parenti.
The project is designed for high-quality living. By opening the panoramic windows the boundary between the apartment and the garden disappears. Each home becomes a unique space and merges with the greenery that surrounds it. The pleasure of enjoying a garden in the city.
Together with the latest generation home automation, the high-standing finishes, such as oak parquet, and low consumption system give the units indisputable comfort as well as making them advantageous from the point of view of consumption. Particular attention is paid to details, to the choice of materials, and to the personalization of spaces by providing tailor-made solutions.
Archventil designed two types of interiors. Style 1 is characterized by contemporary, essential shapes with clear references to Scandinavian design. Style 2 combines classic-contemporary elements. The walls are decorated with boiserie and herringbone parquet that give an elegant and sophisticated image. In both styles a large window lets in natural light that floods the space, contributing to the final effect of great living comfort.

Archventil is an international studio specialising in architecture and interior design founded by the designer Elena Tomlenova in Milan in 2012.
A multidisciplinary team works on architectural, residential, and commercial projects with a systemic approach aimed at realising spaces that give value to the experiences of those who live in the spaces. Archventil's creations are characterized by an international and contemporary taste that intercepts the interest of the cosmopolitan client, but the studio is capable of interpreting the genius loci by placing each project in its own context.
In the last two years, the studio has carried out around 150 projects in Italy and abroad.
