In this wonderful, quiet location was the old building, which had been unused for a long time, was getting on in years and neither energetically nor hygienically up to today's standards. These old walls were to be given new life, but without changing the outer form of the building as well as the roof. The client's wish to make modern living possible should of course be taken into account. The view inspired G22 Projects to open the house to the outside. All window openings were generously extended to offer views of the lake and to make the rooms bright and flooded with light. The internal layout was revised, and the room layout was completely changed and made more open. All living and sleeping areas are places to linger and relax in every aspect, and the skilful layout provides unforgettable views of the outdoors. An atmosphere of simple elegance was created through a targeted and discreet choice of materials and colours. The contrast of the dark built-in furniture, which was specially made in smoked oak, reflects the variety of colours of Lake Garda. The outdoor area was also an important aspect of the entire project, which was to be regarded as an extended living space and living room. Through the skilful use of upscale materials and simple colours, an inviting place was created. The generous pergola forms a link between the orientation of the building and the location of the infinity pool. The result is an exclusive holiday home with a tranquil atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home thanks to the straightforward style of the villa and the scent of Lake Garda. ITALIANO Come vorrei che i miei amici fossero accanto a me per un momento, per poter godere della vista che mi sta davanti. - J.W.v.Goethe L'attuale Villa E è situata su un dolce pendio sulla sponda orientale del Lago di Garda con una vista mozzafiato sul lago e sul paesaggio montano circostante. In questa splendida e tranquilla posizione si trovava il vecchio edificio, inutilizzato da molto tempo, in là con gli anni e non all'altezza degli standard energetici e igienici moderni. Queste vecchie mura dovevano essere riportate a nuova vita, senza però modificare la forma esterna dell'edificio e del tetto. Naturalmente si deve tenere conto del desiderio del cliente di rendere possibile una vita moderna in questo luogo. La vista ha ispirato G22 Projects ad aprire la casa verso l'esterno. Tutte le aperture delle finestre sono state generosamente ampliate per offrire una vista sul lago e per rendere gli ambienti luminosi e inondati di luce. Il layout interno è stato rivisto, la disposizione delle stanze completamente cambiata e resa più aperta. Tutte le zone giorno e notte sono luoghi in cui soffermarsi e rilassarsi sotto ogni aspetto, e la sapiente disposizione offre viste indimenticabili sugli esterni. Un'atmosfera di semplice eleganza è stata creata attraverso una scelta mirata e discreta di materiali e colori. Il contrasto dei mobili scuri da incasso, realizzati appositamente in rovere affumicato, riflette la varietà di colori del Lago di Garda. Anche l'area esterna era un aspetto importante dell'intero progetto, che doveva essere considerato come uno spazio abitativo esteso e un salotto. Grazie all'uso sapiente di materiali pregiati e colori semplici, è stato creato un luogo invitante. Il generoso pergolato costituisce un collegamento tra l'orientamento dell'edificio e la posizione della piscina a sfioro.
