Tower three within EchelonSeaport, Cottonwood Group’s transformative 3.5 acre, 1.33 million square-foot mixed-use development, The Alyx is designed by internationally lauded architect Kohn Pedersen Fox, and showcases the project’s signature stepped-tower design, creating premier outdoor terraces for residents that boast city views. In addition to a full suite of amenities, residents enjoy a central courtyard filled with artwork, multiple outdoor seating areas, vibrant programming and activities under a verdant tree canopy, and 125,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space within the overall project. AMENITIES: The Alyx’s lobby and lounge spaces were thoughtfully created by Internationally renowned designer Jeffrey Beers International. Impeccably styled on a grand scale, we designed over 50,000sf of amenity space at EchelonSeaport, including a collection of social lounges, an 8,500sf fitness center, library, private dining rooms, two outdoor and one indoor pool, a wine room, and three separate lobbies’ service three distinct residential towers. All spaces are stylishly detailed, with soaring ceiling heights and rich architectural details and many of the spaces were designed to overlook the outdoor gardens and amenities. The design influences for the amenity spaces include Boston’s architecture, culture, food, heritage, and surrounding nature, as well as the city’s sense of authenticity and community. The five key words I would use to describe our vision for the amenity spaces include warmth, communal, honest, personal, and most importantly inviting. • A 75-foot outdoor Grand Pool with cabanas, complemented by lounge areas with fire tables • A 24-hour wellness center with on-demand fitness classes, and outdoor wellness space for yoga & fitness activities • Pet-friendly areas that include an on-site outdoor dog run and play park • Resident lounge areas and lobby designed to be an extension of your home, warm, inviting, and communal • On-site Family Play Center developed around the principles of learning, discovery, and fun • Access to the Echelon Innovation Center, an avant-garde lifestyle club & residential amenity for co-working, networking and building community • 24-hour concierge service ECHELON INNOVATION CENTER: A first-of-its-kind for a residential community, the Echelon Innovation Center houses the Echelon Club which is a private members-only lifestyle club featuring high-tech collaborative elements and programming developed by some of Boston’s leading academics, businesses, and incubators.
