Modern simplicity as the keynote of Unit 1 home environment

This project is located in a high-rise residential building in the center of Shanghai. The owners are a retired couple who have returned to work. This will be the main residence for them to enjoy their old age. On the one hand, in the post-epidemic era, people spend more time at home, and comfortable space becomes particularly important; on the other hand, the owner pursues the quality of life. Based on this, the designer takes modern simplicity as the keynote to create a clean, elegant and warm home environment. The entrance hall is faced with a beige wood veneer background wall, and three beige circular sensor lights on the wall complement the wall. No matter when the owner goes home, the light tube can be seen when the owner opens the door and enter the house, you can feel a touch of warmth, so as to relieve the fatigue outside and relax your body and mind. Following the guidance of the top beam, and then we enter a red kite-colored restaurant space. The designer integrated the beauty of Scarpa details in this space, and integrated with the high storage cabinet on the wall, so that the original single functional space provides a philosophical meaning. The mirror on the wall-shaped locker on the other side increases the sense of extension of the space. The silver mirror is spliced with the red kite-colored wooden cabinet door, which just matches the depth of the background wall, just like the yin and yang of Tai Chi. It means that family members should tolerate and understand each other. The modeling dining table with wood veneer and slate is not only a functional furniture, but also a space decoration. Near to the dining room is the living room , with leather soft-covered sofa decks, slate arc coffee tables, wooden + rattan Chandigarh chairs, the combination of various materials makes the space vivid. The light is light and hazy through the soft white gauze curtain. Sitting here, whether drinking tea, or closing your eyes, or reading books, you can feel quiet and leisure, and enjoy the beautiful poetry of being close to the sun. The TV wall in the living room is a whole piece of black and white textured terrazzo, and the splicing with the wooden surface of the wall is just right. The master bedroom is beige as a whole. The warm texture of the wood veneer and the fabric of the same color create a pure and comfortable resting space, which is more conducive to the occupants to enter a state of relaxation. The dark red chandelier at the head of the bed and the warm yellow light create a calm and warm high-level temperament. The small holes of different sizes on the door of the bay window locker have a sense of rhythm, which is the connection symbol of love customized by the designer for the owner, symbolizing the owner's deep marital relationship. The walls and floors of the bathroom and kitchen are made of the same light-colored terrazzo, which is harmonious and unified, which creating a soft and quiet atmosphere and making people to feel comfortable and more attractive. In each space, the designer has considered as many lockers as possible for the owner to ensure that various items in life can be properly stored. This project brings color rhythm, line emotion, and warm texture into reality, awakening elegant taste and warm atmosphere. In the space every scale has been carefully scrutinized, and every piece of material has been carefully compared . It reflects that the designer is rigorous and warm thinking.
