The client is a leader in the Asia-Pacific region's intelligent voice and artificial intelligence industries and a member of the China’s artificial intelligence national team. Since its founding in 1999, IFLYTEK has dedicated itself to using artificial intelligence to create a better society. In order to develop an artificial intelligence town project with a total construction area of 250,000 square metres, IFLYTEK signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hefei High-Tech Zone. The project aims to be the new heights of global artificial intelligence in the future. The 356,526 square metre in the first phase of the project will house the main IFLYTEK headquarters. When developing the design, IFLYTEK expected to build a new home for their highly collaborative and creative employees, influencers, and community while creating its new head office. On the other hand, IFLYTEK wanted the new space to represent the working culture and spirit of the company. The design evolves around two main targets: the hometown and lifelong campus of IFLYTEKers, and a world-class new headquarters office image that reflects Chinese AI businesses. Campus X is a planned design idea that intends to be an employee-centric campus park with continuous experience scene. It is inspired by a synergy between specific groups, nature, and site. A large park unites all six of the site's blocks, permitting only walking on the ground and underground mobility circulation, effectively bridging the fault connection of urban spatial scale, as well as acting as a public urban park. We can image that, all of the working, communicating, and activity scenes will take place in the presence of plants and sunlight. The IFLYTEK image in the building is created by two aspects of future artificial intelligence business technology and harmony of a brave new world in an eastern atmosphere. There are four linked but individually operating streamlined enormous grey masses. Outdoor areas of varying heights are provided by the terraces on each story and the jogging track at the top. It gets well in harmony with the forest park and expresses itself as the headquarters thanks to the façade design of transparent glass and silver-grey alumina plate. The plan's individual workplaces and meeting areas are constructed around shared community team spaces following a horizontal leadership structure. The staff may move easily between a café and a lounge, a conference room and a workstation, or a collaboration centre and the outdoors thanks to the open floor layout. The emergence of new tales and ideas will thereafter be facilitated by freely movable space settings. The separate buildings of executive office, canteen, and gym facilities are scattered among the masses and each serves its purposes. Green and sustainability are significant design elements. Solar panels on the building's roof provide the structure with its own electricity. In addition to regulating the building environment, the park with the whole ecosystem creates its own microclimate and offers appropriate natural light and ventilation.
