The master plan has among its objectives that of mending the paths between the south and the north of the city.
The Port again in the center of the city of Riccione. A completely reorganized area with ordered service and leisure functions.
A place that is no longer entrenched but in complete correlation with the equipped promenade and the beach. A park with pedestrian paths and visual telescopes towards the sea. A service structure for citizens and boaters. Close to the breakwater a SEAPORT with buoys for temporary mooring.
The extension of the city parks will have through a River Park that starts from the epicenter Porto and across the river reaches the rest of the city park system, a "River of Grass" easily accessible by cycle and pedestrian paths and connected to the sea. The area between Viale Tasso and the sea will be pedestrianized up to viali Galli to the north and Pascoli to the south. In this area, with wide sidewalks and a cycle path, there will be commercial activities and small crafts.
In the parking area of Via Verità, a Dry Harbor is assumed to house the boats, giving new life to the river axis, contributing to its transformation into
"Viale d’Acqua" and creating a real second port on land. An innovative answer
and qualified to the demand for trailerable boating, by its very nature attractive towards
of international users.
All road traffic in the port area will have to be completely lightened, hoping where possible internodal exchanges through the construction of parking lots near the TRC / Rio Melo exchange.
The plan provides for the possibility of creating two parking garages.
Close to the motorway toll booth, there is a large area indicated in the PSC as peripheral parking areas functional to the reduction of parking in the sea strip. We envisage a SOLAR PARK FOR SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY, which feeds the area itself and part of the consumption of the entire neighborhood, columns for charging electric vehicles, the Byke and Scooter Sharing service and the station for electric public transport. The construction of the navigability of the canal tangent to the Park area with a river station could represent an interesting infrastructural project for the entire territory in the future. The DIVERTER along the river is a strategic objective to maintain an accessible and safe canal port at the mouth of the port. The solution identified is to place it close to the highway, in an area whose distance between the Marano and Rio Melo would be facilitated by the presence of Lake Acobaleno as the collector of the entire work.
