Located directly North of New York City, Westchester County, NY has been a haven for decades for families who desire to set down roots in tree-lined picturesque neighborhoods only a short train ride from Grand Central. As families grow older and children move on to independent lives as adults, many parents are left with a large, luxurious empty house with an excess of space. Not wanting to pay considerable taxes for space they do not need, but not wanting to downsize their lavish lifestyle, empty nesters are faced with a problem. St. Regis Residences, Rye is the solution. Designed by Perkins Eastman Architects, Developed by Alfred Weissman Real Estate, and managed by the prestigious St Regis brand, a luxury-tier subsidiary of Marriott International, the St. Regis Residences Rye, offers empty nesters a perfect combination of downsized, yet spacious apartment units paired with exuberant, five star amenities, a standard for the St Regis brand. Residents are able to downsize their home without downsizing their lifestyle, a mantra that has attracted buyers from all across the tri-state area.
The 92 residences, located throughout five buildings, ranging from one to four bedrooms, all ensuite, were designed with the luxury buyer in mind. Kitchens are outfitted with top-of-the-line Italian cabinetry, meticulously created to maximize functionality without minimizing splendor. Opulent bathrooms are finished wall-to-wall with natural Italian marble, custom vanities, and soaking tubs, giving residents a spa-like experience with each use. Thai hardwood floors run throughout each unit, and custom lighting highlights the grandeur of spaces including generous open living and dining rooms, intimate dens, and welcoming foyers. When residents want to venture outside of their abodes, 19,000 square feet of five-star amenities are a short stroll away.
Spread across two stories and an acre of courtyard space, the amenities offer residents the opulent lifestyle they are accustomed to. Upon entry into the building, one is greeted by an elegant, St. Regis signature spiral staircase modeled after the snail. On the main floor sits the Cognac Room, a gentleman’s lounge outfitted with custom millwork and somber light fixtures. A Screening Room and state-of-the-art Golf Simulator complete the main level. Venturing up the spiral staircase leads to a grand Event Room, with space for six large tables, and a connected Private Dining Room ideal for intimate dinners and wine tastings. A top-of-the-line fitness center provides residents an outlet for daily exercise, while an indoor pool complete with vaulted ceilings and oversized doors opening to the courtyard and an adjacent locker room fitted with a modern sauna and soothing steam shower complete the wellness-focused amenities. Lastly, the second floor of the amenities building includes the Drawing Room, an opulent space perfect for casual gatherings, high tea, ritual champagne saberings.
The amenities building opens up to an outdoor courtyard spread across a generous acre. A central green space lined with tasteful trees highlights the entry to the courtyard. Flanking the space are comfortable sitting areas, one of which features a contemporary fire pit ideal for evening drinks and conversation. An elegant fountain rests along the perimeter wall, offering the space a soothing atmosphere. Dividing the courtyard is the Pavilion, which is fitted with sizable accordion and french doors, combining the indoors and outdoors effortlessly while functioning as a sheltered pathway connecting two residential buildings with the amenities building. Throughout the property is a foliage lined walking path that travels through beautiful rain gardens, meticulously landscapes and luscious greenery.
The entire compound sits on a massive concrete podium, under which sits a heated, 213 space, gated garage. The podium and the five buildings upon it are supported by collection concrete piers that stretch across the garage. The steel-framed residential buildings are clad with cast concrete mock shingles, modeled after the wooden shingles historically found on Westchester homes. The mock shingles are designed for maximum durability and easy maintenance, offering a long lasting, high quality facade. Additionally, cast stone, made to appear natural, wraps the lower portions and balconies of the buildings while clapboard siding covers highlighted areas of the facade. Mansard roofs shape the upper facade of the structures, modeled after traditional Rye architecture. Some of the Mansard roofs frame spacious balconies while others house bays of windows looking out over the courtyard. On the roof of each building sits a forest of mechanical equipment strategically placed out of sight from the ground. The buildings are fitted with oversized, double hung Andersen windows allowing plentiful natural light in the residential units and amenity spaces. An extensive door schedule includes a combination of storefront, patio, and hollow metal doors covered with wood veneer. The finishes of the St Regis Residences, both inside and out, were designed with the utmost attention to luxury detail, leading to a set of buildings fitted with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.

Surrounded by sophisticated design approved by even the most discerning eye, one can enjoy the lavish lifestyle for which the St. Regis brand is known for.
