Interactive whiteboards are ever more common in work and education, fast becoming an essential addition to business meetings or lessons at school and university. Samsung is truly on the ball with this trend through eBoard, a versatile tool that is easy and immediate to use, but also very effective. Samsung’s eBoard has specifically been designed to be a natural, intuitive step for technology, mimicking the appearance and shape of traditional whiteboards. It is the touch technology where it really stands out, capable of being used simultaneously by ten people simply with the touch of two fingers. The displays are from the DME-BC range with capacitive touch technology, making writing natural and comfortable. Any type of graphic can be dragged onto the screen and then erased directly using the palm of your hand. Available in 65”, 75” and 82” versions, Samsung’s interactive whiteboards have essential lines, with thin black metallic frames and rounded edges. The resolution is excellent at 5000:1. A front pen tray is included, providing space to keep all the display accessories. Additionally, the display’s design positions simplified hot keys on the front and side of this pen tray. These shortcut hot keys provide quick and simple access to frequently-used functions. Samsung’s eBoards include MagicIWB S2 content management software, which is fully compatible with standard, widely available office software. Users can access, share and edit content on their own PC, tablet or smartphone using one of the numerous input sources - HDMI, D-Sub, DVI and USB - that are compatible with nearly all external devices. At the end of a meeting or lesson, work can be saved on the internal memory, a pen drive, a mobile device or in a network folder, making it easy to reuse or share content. The e-Board’s auto switching function makes changing video source straightforward, without the need for a remote. A touch out interface on the side of the pen tray can be used to connect an external PC to the display, making it simple for all participants to interact directly using their mobile devices.
