Nowadays architecture is more and more forced to prioritize safeguarding the environment by seeking higher-performing products that cut greenhouse gas emissions and reduce energy dispersion. This, and the need to contain the cost of air-conditioning, has led AGC Glass Europe to come up with a new product at its Italian works near Cuneo: Planibel Top 1.0. The key here is interaction between the solar factor, light transmission and thermal insulation. Planibel Top 1.0 is a magnetronic glass with an extremely performative thermal insulation coefficient: Ug di 1.0 W/m2K with 90% Argon filling and a 50% solar factor with coating on face 3. Planibel Top 1.0 is exceptional for its neutral look. This gives it enormous scope for application and ensures marked energy saving in both winter and summer - the right solution in the so-called “cooling dominant conditions”. Planibel Top 1.0 is also available on Clearvision, AGC’s extra-clear glass, in the Stratobel (safety glass) version, made by assembling two or more glasses with one or more interlayers made of PVB; or in the Stratophone (safety glass with acoustic PVB) version with high-level acoustic performance.
