Course Description
The course examines a single-family home with a striking design, located in a spectacular natural setting. This elegant yet boldly geometric building has been constructed using materials that underpin its strong architectural identity. The design reveals the close attention the architects have paid to designing a building that caters for residents’ needs as regards comfort, livability, and the usability of spaces, while also responding to the contemporary architecture call for aesthetic innovation. The course describes the new building through images and technical drawings, and provides construction details with explanatory legends and an introductory text.
