Course DescriptionThis course describes the headquarters of the manufacturing group Matteograssi. It provides an insight into the design approach adopted to produce a highly distinctive architecture reflecting the corporate image of a longstanding firm with cutting-edge products. The course includes images and technical drawings, provides construction details with explanatory legends, and an introductory text. On completing the course, the student will be able to discuss the importance of design rigor in relation to the use of materials, with particular reference to combining concrete with other materials to produce unique forms.

- Assess the innovative aspects of the project in terms of the construction of interior and exterior pathways to ensure the usability of spaces.
- Explain, using the construction detail drawings, the technologies used to create the building, and the materials used for frame and cladding.
- Discuss how the different functions of the building are distributed according to lines that delineate separate spaces.
- 4- Analyze the design process that led to the unusual arrangement of the architectural form.
