Course DescriptionThe course examines a cosmetics industry research center whose design was strongly influenced by the surrounding landscape that is itself treated as an architectural element. The research center is analyzed through text, a large number of images, numerous technical drawings, and construction details with relative legends outlining the construction system. The course provides a comprehensive view of the design measures taken to produce a building heavily influenced by its natural setting.

Learning Objectives – after reading the article and studying the drawings, you will be able to:
- Describe the design measures taken to integrate the center harmoniously into its natural landscape with minimal environmental impact.
- Explain the design choices made, in terms of materials, for the construction of the research center and analyze its integration into the landscape.
- Describe the distribution of spaces in relation to the function of the center and its architectural forms.
- Analyze the shell of the research center in terms of the performance of the materials used, and explain how the relationship between architecture and nature has been incorporated into the project.
