Course Description
The course analyzes a project of great symbolic value and visual impact built to blend with its hilly landscape. The text provides a description and history of its construction within the local political and cultural context.   1. Analyze the materials used for both the interior and exterior finishes in terms of how they are perceived and similarities with local architecture.
  2. Assess the innovative aspects of the project in terms of the construction of forms and pathways, and how these fit into the context of the building.
  3. Discuss the strategies employed to integrate the project into the surrounding landscape becoming part of it.
  4. Recognize how the project has become a symbol of local identity.
