Course Description
The course presents a new-build in a western neighborhood of London currently undergoing extensive regeneration. Attention is given to the way the architects take context into account and so contribute to creating a quality public area. Course material includes an explanatory text that investigates the reasons behind the architectural design, and a detailed account of the glazed envelope. This is accompanied by photographs, technical and construction-detail drawings illustrating the materials and technologies employed.
