Course DescriptionThe course provides an in-depth insight into new forms of contemporary architecture, examining a significant corporate building project in Spain. Course material includes a descriptive text, photographs, and technical and construction-detail drawings that will enable you to analyze the project and the technologies and materials used, with particular focus on how the resultant architecture is in keeping with its setting.
On completing the course, you will be able to discuss how an architecture can enhance its natural setting, becoming a landmark feature yet blending comfortably with its surrounds.

Learning Objectives – after reading the article and studying the drawings, you will be able to:
- Define how solar exposure has been exploited and discuss how the architects have provided interior environments with sufficient natural lighting to meet specific occupant requirements.
- Explain in what way the architecture succeeds in becoming an integral part of its surrounds.
