Course Description
The course “architecture and sustainability: the Syracuse Center of Excellence” provides clear and well balanced information of a key architecture project on the topic of sustainability in contemporary architecture. The learner will receive a full overview on the project, its technologies and materials with focus on the sustainable strategies that were implemented in its design and realization. The reader of the course will be provided with an informative essay, a full set of design drawings, climate sections and above all technical constructive details of the envelope and its structure, including a wide range of images.
By completing the course the learner will improve its knowledge on sustainability topics in contemporary architecture, green technologies and state of the art design tools used, being able to use it in his own projects.
