Course DescriptionThe course presents an interview with Frank Gehry in which he talks of his approach to architecture and how his practice organizes its work, with particular focus on the importance of team work, hand-made models and the use of new technologies. The article gives details of on-going projects, their underlying concept and how they develop in the making. This is accompanied by pictures, rendered images and sketches. On completing the course, you will be able to discuss how Gehry and his team got their inspiration for the projects illustrated, the elements these projects have in common and their distinguishing features.
