CODICE (COmputationally driver Design of Innovative CEmentitious Material) is a project that brings producers and suppliers of cement-based material together with universities and
research institutes for developing new and improved computational toolkit that monitor the formation and proprieties of cementitious materials starting from macroscopic processing variable. After the succes of last year workshop, also this year they want to be a productive forum for science and industrial worlds and attempt to share some of the new advances on the multi-scale modelling and characterization of cementitious material
Speakers: Karen Scrivener (EPFL, Switzerland) - Hamlin Jennings (Northwestern University, USA) - Angel Palomo (CSIC, Torroja Istitute, Spain) - Luc Nicoleau (BASF, Germany).
Participants interested in presenting either an oral or a poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract in English. The abstract body must be no longer that 2,000 characters, includine spaces, title, authors name, affiliations and e-mail adresses. Abstract must be sent to:

Last day to submit abstracts is June 30, 2010.
Regular registration rate: Euro 450,00. Students (Bsc, MSc, Phd) rate: Euro 250,00. The registration fee includes a collection of abstracts, lunch and refreshment, plus the workshop dinner and a guide tour of Venice on September 22. The fee does not include travel, transportation, hotel accomodation or additional meal. Partecipants may register starting April 15, 2010.
