By a new manufacturing process AGC’s Mirox 3G mirror comes into line with European Directive RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulating the use of harmful materials in industrial production processes.
AGC has managed to eliminate the use of toxic or pollutant materials like copper and lead (less than 0.1% present), while their new epoxy paint protecting the silver layer is formaldehyde-free, as well as containing 70% less solvent than the previous mirror MNGE.
The protective paint for Mirox 3G is not only eco-friendly but a high performer in terms of resistance to scratching, and it is 10 times more corrosion-resistant than the standard EN 1036.
To meet all tastes, Mirox 3G is produced in the colour range Black, Clear, Bronze, Grey, PrivaBlue and Green, all likewise available in the reinforced safety version Safe+. This last has a film of polypropylene across the back: in an accident instead of shattering, the fragments remain stuck to the film and nobody gets hurt.
Though highly recommended for the home, Mirox 3G becomes a ‘must’ for all public places including gyms and offices.
